Art Takedown Requests

Artist (and only artists) may request takedowns.
Step 1: Register for an AMS account.
Because certain non-public information may need to be discussed, an account is required to file an art takedown request. Takedown requests filed from non-registered accounts will be removed.
Step 2: Report one piece of art with the subject, "Art Takedown Request".
Do not report every piece of art; this will slow down the process and may trigger anti-spam processes that will toss out all your reports. In your report, list which site or site(s) you use for your gallery.
Step 3: Staff checks your galleries to verify your email.
This email must be one you have listed publicly on the sites you use on your gallery. We will search the email of record of your account on the sites to verify ownership. If we cannot verify your email, you will have to file a new art takedown request.
Step 4: Staff contacts you to verify the request.
Staff will reach out to you via email at the address of record of your AMS account to confirm that you are the artist in question. You must be able to receive email from the domain gmail.com.
Step 5: Removal.
You are marked DNP and your art is removed. Please allow time for the removal to be processed, as removals cannot be done automatically, and are completed depending on volunteer time.
FAQs
What if someone re-uploads my art?
If the image is properly tagged, it will automatically be flagged as DNP and removed in our next regular DNP sweep. If an image is improperly flagged, please report the image from the account you verified in the process above. (You will not have to go through the full confirmation process again; our notes will contain this record.)
May I restrict some art, but not all?
We cannot "partially" remove artists. Either you can prove you are the artist requesting removal, or you cannot.
Once I have requested removal, may I return?
Once you have requested a takedown, in order to return to the site, you will have to complete an age verification to ensure that you are above the age of 18. Details of this process will be provided once you make that request.
