Days ago, I decided to redraw the cancelled “Scourge The Speed Demon” comic, but wanted to make it my version of Scourge. In case you didn’t know, In 2021, The Infamous Ken Penders licensed Scourge to “Rush Comics”. It was going to be a mini series called “Scourge The Speed Demon”, but it already had controversy when it was announced. The lead artist “Fug-Bug” was called out as a white supremacist due to following far right figures and grifters on Twitter, and the writer “Andrew Roby” wrote something questionable in Rush #2 where Bolt strips female villains in the middle of the street. Ian Flynn confirmed that he was paid to review the comic and told Andrew that stripping the villains down was a form of sexual assault which he got upset about. Due to all the backlash, as well as being associated with Penders, the comic had to be cancelled in a couple of days. They also refunded the donations which only $29 was ever given.

God Damn, that was a mess. It sucks that SEGA nor IDW will probably never get to use Scourge or any other Archie characters, Oh well, at least fan work exists right?
